The Marquess of Exeter is another of Allen and Julia’s Country Style Inns. It is
situated in the quiet unspoiled village of Lyddington, situated in the heart of the
beautiful Rutland countryside.

This delightful 16th century former coaching inn, has 16 en-suite bedrooms,
a cosy bar, an even cosier snug and a beautiful restaurant.
It has recently been sympathetically refurbished throughout to retain a traditional
feel, with exposed wooden beams and open fires.
